Geez I haven’t done this entry in ages and as
the saying goes nothing like the present am I right?!
Rick Astley is one of my favourite artist’s
growing up.
I chose this artist as my first artist of the
week 2017 because one you all need to know this artist and two he can sing!!!
His latest album “50” has made a massive
statement in the charts i.e. the UK, US, Europe and Australia.
"50"
was the celebration of age and his music and to give back to the fans with new
music.
There are 12 tracks on the album with hits “Keep
Singing”, “Angels On My Side”, “Dance” and “Pray With Me”.

Here is a brief bio on who is Rick Astley.
Richard Paul "Rick" Astley (born 6 February 1966) is an
English singer, songwriter, musician, and radio personality.
His 1987 song, "Never Gonna Give You Up" was
a No. 1 hit single in 25 countries, and won the 1988 Brit Award for Best
British Single.

Astley made a
comeback in 2007, becoming an Internet phenomenon when his video "Never

Europe Music Awards 2008.
His 2016 album 50 debuted in the UK at No.1.
And now he is back
and better than ever!!!

What I love about
this album is that this artist has reinvented himself with a whole new flavour
of music from Adult contemporary to Soul.
It really is a
different take from all of his previous past records and that’s what makes him
a true professional and most importantly an artist!!!
I can’t choose
which song is my favourite as each track tells a story of its own and that’s
why I love this album!!!
Decades being in the
music industry and he is still holding strong!!! What an artist and performer.
He is a jack of all
trades and a singer to look out for, for years to come.
